An exciting project this past was a residential, cherry bar, complete with
back & side bar. The raised panel detail throughout is complemented by both beveled glass doors & mirror. The back &
front bartop are solid cherry. The front bartop features a Chicago-type rail with a floating top which allows the wood
to expand and contract over the seasonal changes while allowing the joints to retain their integrity. This is the same construction
we used on the Middleton Bar, and those joints have remained pristine since 1984.

In 2011 we were approached by California's Napa Technology to design a kiosk
for Fishpaws Market in Arnold Maryland featuring their four new wine stations. Both the wood and the granite from In Home Stone are light to allow the product to stand out. The unit itself is on casters to enable its placement in
the store to vary with the needs of different promotional events such as seasonal sales and their weekly wine tasting. All
the essential support equipment is contained within the unit, such as the 40 cu ft nitrogen tank and regulator that ensure
an airtight seal for the wine, the backup battery for the wireless computerized wine distribution system, cooling fans, and
space & support for as much as 200 bottles of wine, glasses & packaged goods. This is a good example of our belief
that the transition from design to reality is a collaborative process. All those
involved (ownership, staff, sales, inventor, designer, and craftsman)worked closely together to produce a truly successful
display.
