STARTING WHAT I FINISH… - I always
visit the site before giving an estimate.
- I charge by the project or by the hour contingent upon scope and scale.
- I bring my full attention, expertise, and high artistic standards to every job.
- I consider preparation paramount.
- I aim to please
your eye. My eye facilitates that process.
- I don’t
sell you anything you don’t want.
- I don’t skip steps, however...Flights of fancy requiring scaffolding and extension
ladders (ceilings, stairs, areas demanding caution and care) cost more.

WOOD…IF I COULD, and I CAN. Prefer
bleached pine to mahogany --- guitars and heating grates of rusted metal – walls of translucent opal -- bright copper
columns? I’ve carved stone from plywood; customized sconces, cabinetry and accoutrements; finessed
faux frescoes; transformed Early American into fashionably late French Country (VOILA!); and brought an imaginary “dragon
fly” table in for a landing on a 3’ x 3’ wall. If it’s pretty you want, or even
(pretty) ugly… FAUX REAL brings it home and/or to your place of business.

Faux: A fix, a way of forgiving an area
its inconsistencies; a means of blending, disguising, integrating and replicating a natural looking finish; of creating something
of beauty from another dimension (2D, of course). All courtesy of some paint, plaster, brushes, and an
eye for detail.
Paint is goof proof when you find the right goof to wield the brush.
